At Southern Kidney Specialists, our board-certified nephrologists look forward to restoring kidney health every day. We are the 2nd largest nephrology private practice in Middle Tennessee with offices located in Nashville, Franklin (Cool Springs), Hermitage, Murfreesboro, Winchester, Manchester, and McMinnville. We make our comprehensive care easy to access through prompt scheduling and even accommodate same day urgent appointments. We accept most insurances plans.

Meet Nikhil Parikh, MD, MPH

Dr. Parikh is board certified in Internal Med, Nephrology & Hypertension. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL where he served as Chief Resident. He trained in Nephrology at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL. After his training in Illinois, Dr. Parikh practiced in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where he also served as a Medical Director. He also has earned a Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology.

Dr. Parikh moved to Nashville with his family in Fall of 2022. His wife, who is a Cardiologist at Vanderbilt, and family (including his 2 dogs) look forward to all that Middle Tennessee has to offer.

Dr. Parikh's clinics are located in Franklin and Nashville. He is available to see patients that are admitted to Williamson Medical Center, Centennial Medical Center, Summit Medical Center, Ascension St Thomas Midtown and West Hospitals.
